Why is most of your website inventory on hold or sold?
Our website is only updated once a week with new inventory (typically on Monday) and that is also when hold/sold vehicles are removed. The new inventory is available for sale when listed as we do not post vehicles that are on hold or already sold. Most people find it hard to believe but a lot of our new inventory has been selling within days or sometimes hours of being listed. Towards the end of each week most of the inventory on our website will be on hold or sold. We understand this is frustrating for our customers but unfortunately we can only sell each vehicle to one person. The market has not always been this way but the current demand is way more than what we can supply. We do appreciate all our customers who are watching but we can't control the demand. We are moving 30-40 cars a month which is more than ever and that is all we can handle here at our small family operated business. Sales will always be first come, first serve which is the only fair way to operate so we recommend watching the website updates and contact us quickly if you see something you like.

Do you take trades?
We don't do a lot of trading but we consider all trades. We would need to see detailed pictures, brief details, and we will need to know how much you are looking to get out of your vehicle. This can be emailed to maplemotors@aol.com and once this is received we will review to let you know if we are interested. Older classic vehicles are going to be easier for us to trade for. If you are sending information on a newer vehicle please include mileage and VIN number as we typically wholesale them to other dealers. We typically are not interested in Boats, Motorcyles, RVs, ATVs, etc but we will take a look at any trade. Most of the time we are backed up at replying on trades do to the high volume of request so the vehicle you are interested in may sell before we can get back with you. We suggest having us review your trade in advance so that you will know if we are interested or not before we get something you are interested in.

Do you buy cars?
We frequently buy vehicles straight from individuals. We would need to see detailed pictures, brief details, vehicle location, and we will need to know how much you are looking to get out of your vehicle. This can be emailed to maplemotors@aol.com and once this is received we will review to let you know if we are interested. Due to the high volume of request it may take us longer than expected to reply to your email. We mainly only buy classic vehicles but will consider some newer models. We typically are not interested in Boats, Motorcyles, RVs, ATVs, etc

Can you put me on a call list for a certain vehicle or can I pay you to locate a specific vehicle?
We do not search for specific vehicles or offer a locater service. We do not have a call list due to the volume of customers that are requesting us to contact them for specific vehicles. The only fair option we have is first come, first serve. The website is typically updated every Monday so be sure to keep a watch on it to see new inventory.

What is the status of vehicles I see in your videos and social media platforms that are not listed on your website?
We always have a large quantity of vehicles on our business lot that are not for sale. This can be because of several situations such as - it has a deal pending, it is a personal vehicle, it isn't ready to be sold yet, or it has already sold and is awaiting transport. What is listed on our website is what is available and it is typically updated with new inventory every Monday.

Most of your website say HOLD or SOLD, is this all the vehicles you have available?
We try to update our website every Monday with new available inventory and remove sold vehicles at that time. Sometimes when the end of the week arrives a lot of vehicles listed on our website will be on hold or sold due to a busy week. Check back on Monday and we will have it updated.

Is your inventory low?
Yes our inventory is at an all time low. We have been doing this over 38 years and we have never seen the market stronger. We typically keep 40-50 cars in stock and we are now struggling to keep 20-30 vehicles available at any given time. This is due to several factors - we are selling more cars than ever, cars are selling faster than ever, cars are getting harder to find than ever, and prices are higher than ever. We are working hard to find good inventory as fast as possible and get it listed to our website.

How can I place a vehicle on Hold?
Our hold policy works a couple different ways - A non-refundable $1000.00 payment towards the vehicle purchase price will hold it for up to a couple weeks. We also offer a 24-hour courtesy hold to give someone time to send a payment or to pay for a vehicle in full. This 24 hour courtesy hold can also be used to allow a traveling customer time to view a vehicle in person. We are strict on our hold times but there will always be certain situations that will vary the policy. We always recommend you call our office when arranging a hold and make a note of whom placed the vehicle on hold for you here. Emails will also work but phones calls will sometimes be received before we can get to your email and in that case the phone call will over rule the email request. Sometimes we have multiple customers trying to put the same car on hold so we have to be fair to everyone.

Do you offer financing or have "in house" financing? What is the down payment and credit requirements?
We do not offer "in house" financing. We have a link on our website for several finance companies that specialize in classic car loans. We have a large amount of customers that use this finance option with great results. We do not handle any of the loan application process so you would contact these companies directly to determine specific terms. The terms will vary from deal to deal depending on many factors. If your credit rating is in the 700's or better we suggest the Lightstream company as it seems to be the quickest and easiest to complete. If your credit rating is in the 600's then the other two options are equally good choices. Under 600 rating typically will not qualify. They typically require 10-20% of the purchase price as a down payment but again, terms will vary from each individual deal.

Do you restore the vehicles you sell?
We don't do any type of restoration work and sell the vehicles just as we purchase them. We basically just buy and resale as-is.

Will you fix or repair things that are not working?
We don't do any type of mechanical or service work on vehicles here at our business. We try to disclose any issues that we are aware of prior to selling a vehicle.

What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept Bank wire transfers, Cashiers checks, or Cash for payment options. We do NOT accept personal or business checks, credit or debit cards, Bank drafts, etc.

Where are you located?
We are located in Hendersonville, TN which is 20 minutes North of Nashville, TN. Our address is 829 West Main Street Hendersonville, TN 37075

What are your business hours?
We are open Monday through Friday 10am - 5pm

What is the best way to contact you?
Phone calls are the best way to contact us for information and securing a vehicle purchase. 615-822-4444 We have a message system but it is not functional so we do not have access to phone messages. We also have email at maplemotors@aol.com Due to a large amount of emails we typically stay backed up but we try to respond to them quickly as possible.

Can you deliver a vehicle to me?
We do not transport or deliver vehicles here at our business. We do have a great company that we use personally and can recommend - Rick at Affordable Auto Transport 816-372-1867 / affordatransport@gmail.com You can contact Rick directly or we would be happy to get a quote for you. You will pay the transport company directly and we will help assist with transport any way possible. You are also more than welcome to use any transport service you choose for shipping options.

I can't find a video of a particular vehicle on Youtube?
We try and post two videos (walk around and test drive) on Youtube of every car we list for sale. Our website gets updated on Mondays with new inventory then Nick will post videos throughout the week of these vehicles. Occasionally vehicles will have pending deals or will get sold before the videos are posted.

What is the best way to find a particular video on Youtube?
We have a link on the Homepage of our website that will take you straight to the Maple Motors Youtube page. We recommend you subscribe to the Maple Motors Youtube page to keep updated with current video content. To find a specific vehicle go to the search bar on www.youtube.com and type - Maple Motors along with the year / model of the vehicle. It also helps to type in the stock number if you have that available.

What does "hold" or "sale pending" mean?
This means the vehicle has a deal working on it and is not available for sale during this time. It has not 100% sold so there is a chance that it could become available again. Every situation is different so terms will vary on how long the pending deal can last. We try to update the availability status daily and remove the longer pending deals from our website on Mondays.

What kind of Insurance do you recommend for a classic vehicle?
Insurance is typically much more affordable than most might expect but will vary due to many factors. We recommend insurance from companies that handle specialty vehicles such as www.hagerty.com or for price comparisons www.gingerbreadinsurance.com

Are your prices firm?
Our list prices are very firm and that eliminates the need to haggle. Most all of our vehicles sell in a reasonable amount of time for list price. If we get tired of looking at a particular vehicle we may get flexible but this typically doesn't happen unless its been on the market for 60-90 days. We will occasionally mark down the price of older inventory and then the list price will become firm again.

Can I buy a vehicle without being there in person?
We always prefer to deal with our customers in person but the majority of our sales are done remotely. Paperwork can be done via email, fax, or mail service. Payment can be sent via bank wire transfer or with cashiers check. Once completed the vehicle can picked up and delivered by any transportation service you chose. All this is a fairly easy process and we will help you throughout the way.

Can I drive this vehicle home?
That would depend on a lot of factors including each particular vehicle and how far of the destination. A lot of the vehicles we sell have performance upgrades which can make them not ideal for long distance driving. There is always a chance with older vehicles that something unpredictable could cause a issue which can become a nightmare situation. Even a small minor problem can become a big headache if you are in the middle of nowhere. Because of this we typically always recommend a transport service or trailing a vehicle home. The cost is very affordable and in our opinion worth the peace of mind.

Is there a local place that rents car trailers?
There is a Uhaul rental center a few miles from our location. We don't recommend tow dollies but the Uhaul full size car trailers are very good there. A lot of our customers have used them over the years with great results. We recommend you call and reserve a trailer to guarantee one is available at your arrival. 615-822-4491 Uhaul of Hendersonville - 208 West Main Street Hendersonville, TN 37075

What is closet airport?
Nashville airport (BNA) is only about 20 minutes from our location. They offer rental cars, taxis, and rideshares services if needed.
